Minor Operating

For most skin conditions, Dr Kane will operate on them within his rooms under a local anaesthetic. The following procedures can be completed in the minor operating rooms:

• Scar revision
• Small skin cancer excisions
• Moles and cysts

In-Hospital procedures

For more difficult or multiple cases, it is recommended that patients receive their treatment in hospital under a general anaesthetic. Dr Kane will generally decide and advise you of this at your consultation. Most in-hospital procedures will be:

• Large or multiple skin cancer excisions
• Burns Reconstruction
